Leadership

As a Baptist Church the final authority for decisions about the church lies with the Church Members Meeting.
(See Membership Page for details on what it means to be a church member).
The Church meeting meets under the headship of Christ to discern the will and mind of Christ for the church.

Deacons
We are served by a group of deacons. Deacons are elected leaders, bringing a range of skills and experience to the life of the church.
In South Norwood Baptist, Deacons are elected at the Annual General Meeting, and serve in 3 year terms.

Minister
Our Minister is Rev Peter Leveson.
Pete previously served as part of the Regional Ministry Team of the London Baptist Association.
